The Centre for the History of European Discourses was incorporated in the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities in August 2015.

By Train
The State Library is only a few blocks away from the train station behind the Brisbane Expo Centre.  If boarding from the CBD then you will need to catch the South Brisbane service.  Once you exit the station turn left on Grey Street, then turn right at the first intersection.

By air
The State Library is approximately thirty minutes away from Brisbane International Airport by car.  There is a train service that runs regularly from the airport to Central Station.  Once at Central, you will need to change to the South Brisbane line.  The airport train costs roughly $15.

By Car
The State Library is accessible by car.  After driving across the Victoria Bridge, you will need to take an immediate left and park at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) car park.  From there, it is a five minute walk to the State Library.
